We would like to thank you very much for the rental of your beautiful cortijo. We had a great time at the villa, we found everything we needed to make it a perfect holiday. The house is beautifully furnished and well equipped. Outdoors there are a number of terraces where we could sunbathe, eat, relax or just chill in the pool. The villa is in a prime location, the area is quiet and peaceful in the countryside where you are surrounded by nature and wildlife, but only a short walk from the village of Frigiliana, so you get the best of both! We look forward to staying in the cortijo again. Best wishes to you, you are a great host.

A very warm welcome awaited us on our arrival from our host, Javier, and from day one the cortijo lived up to all our expectations. All the facilities were first class and although the weather to start with was a bit cool it did not detract from our intended relaxing holiday. To wake up in the morning to the birds singing instead of traffic noise was a delight. If you have a car, ask Javier for the route via Velez Malaga inland through the mountains. Be ready to be amazed!! We would most certainly recommend this house for a holiday away from the main tourist area to live with the locals, but if you want night clubs/bars/noise its only just down the road in Nerja. Can't wait to go back again hopefully next year.

We found the cortijo to exceed our expectations by far; it was most tastefully decorated, fully and thoughtfully equipped, comfortable and very well located to combine the best of a country setting with an easy walk into the village. We were lucky that the weather was good enough for us to take full advantage of the pool, and the spacious terraces provided a comfortable choice of different places to lounge in the sunshine or eat al fresco - which we did, courtesy of the excellent barbecue located in the garden. The owner proved to be extremely helpful and courteous; living in Nerja, he made himself freely available, and was a pleasure to deal with. All in all, a great holiday experience, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the cortijo wholeheartedly to anyone who loves Frigiliana and the Nerja coast, or indeed to anyone who has never even been to the Costa del Sol. Well done, Javier! And your Mum is a great dancer!
